Videri Brings Digital Innovation to RC Canada Show – Booth #1435

A relative newcomer to the Canadian market, Videri is sponsoring our first-ever regional event in Toronto – the RC Canada Show, Canada’s leading hospitality and food service event, April 8-10. You might be surprised to learn that while Videri is headquartered in New York City, our product development team is based in Montreal, Canada, and we have regional Videri representation in the market – many of whom are centred around Toronto and will be at the show!

The RC Canada show will highlight how the industry is evolving, and how consumers are becoming increasingly discerning about their food and beverage choices, with higher expectations for quality ingredients, sustainable practices, and greater transparency. New technologies are impacting the ways people eat and drink out, including menu customization, and the ability to deliver more personalized recommendations and targeted diner messaging.1

That’s where Videri comes in. We are one of those “new” technologies. Even though we’ve been in the market since 2013, with more than 100K+ displays deployed in 80+ global markets. We’ve been stealthily growing around the globe because we work with forward thinking brands that keep using Videri because they have experienced an average of 30% increase in sales.   “We see a lot of alignment between the trends in the food services industry and Videri’s approach to digital” says VP of Marketing, Sonya Verheyden. “Our global footprint in food and beverage, bars/restaurants and hospitality make this a perfect first show for Videri in Canada.”

Videri challenges traditional digital display solutions with a simple, yet comprehensive platform that delivers elevated digital experiences that are high impact, simple, scalable and limitless. With measurable ROI, clean design, cloud-connected, user-centred software, and the ability to put digital where you never thought possible, there are plenty of reasons you should stop by the Videri Booth at the RC Canada show to see for yourself.

Edge-Lit TVs are on the hot seat. How does Videri keep its cool?

In a recent study by RTING, edge-lit TVs were identified as prone to significant durability issues due to concentrated heat which caused “uniformity problems” such as warped reflector sheets, cracked light guide plates, and burnt-out LEDs. The study concluded that these TVs posed a significant risk to long-term reliability. When it comes to thin digital displays, heat dissipation is paramount to the longevity of the product.
