Videri Breaks the 1:1 Hardware Model with Industry-First Software-Defined Dual-Output SoC

Bringing unprecedented flexibility to digital signage at ISE 2026

BARCELONA, SPAIN — February 1st, 2026 — At Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2026, Videri is introducing a fundamental shift in how enterprise digital signage networks manage multi-display environments.

For decades, multi-display environments have been constrained by a simple rule: more screens meant more hardware. Every additional display required its own system-on-chip (SoC), licenses, antennas, memory, storage – and introduced new points of failure. That model drove up cost, complexity, and long-term operational risk.

Videri is breaking that pattern.

Introducing: Videri Dual Display Output Support

Dual-sided signage powered by a single SoC.

This isn’t just a feature update. It’s a new way to think about digital signage infrastructure.

By decoupling endpoint capability from physical hardware, through newly optimized software paired with enhanced SoC chipsets, Videri’s software-defined architecture now allows a single Android-based SoC to drive multiple displays as a either mirrored or fully independent content device –managed entirely through the Videri platform.

The Shift: Hardware Shouldn’t Dictate Use Case.

Historically, scaling a display network followed a rigid, linear formula. A dual-screen endpoint required two licenses, two SoCs, double the internal components, and double the cost. Enterprises were forced to either over-provision hardware for future needs or accept expensive “rip-and-replace” upgrades down the line.

Videri’s new software-defined architecture removes that friction.

“At ISE, we aren’t just showing new hardware – we’re showing how much infrastructure we can help remove,” said Adam Hokin, Senior Product Manager at Videri. “We’re moving the industry away from the idea that more screens automatically mean more complexity. With Videri, a single device can evolve from a simple mirrored display to a multi-channel marketing engine just by changing a license in the cloud.”

One Hardware, Two Business Models.

With this platform update, Videri introduces a flexible licensing model that aligns operational cost directly with business value:

  • Mirrored Efficiency (Single License)
For deployments that prioritize coverage and simplicity, a single endpoint can drive identical content across multiple displays. This delivers the lowest possible total cost of ownership (TCO) while maintaining centralized control.

  • Unique Experiences (Multi-License)
When a deployment needs to evolve—for example, monetizing a street-facing window with ads or driving traffic into stores with promotional offers, while at the same time, maintaining a separate content strategy indoors to help drive loyalty programs or increased retailer average basket size – operators can apply a second license to the same hardware. The Videri platform unlocks independent content streams per screen, without adding an additional media player or internal SoC.

The result: future-ready deployments without hardware lock-in.

Industry Firsts, Enabled by Videri.

To demonstrate what this architecture makes possible,  Videri is showcasing this capability on the Allsee Ultra High Brightness Hanging Double Sided Display in an industry first.

Videri and Allsee Technologies have engineered an Android-based dual-sided display capable of rendering unique content on each side using a single internal SoC using a CMS at scale. Each display supports independent controls – such as brightness and contrast – while eliminating the need for redundant hardware, splitters, or external players. This dramatically reduces failure points, power consumption, and deployment complexity.

A Deeper Kind of Partnership.

The dual-sided display solution is the result of close collaboration between Videri’s software engineers and Allsee’s hardware R&D team- highlighting the difference between simply running software on hardware and truly optimizing software with hardware.

“In our industry, most software partners take a ‘light’ approach, simply layering a CMS app on top of the operating system,” said Dr. Baoli Zhao, Founder and Managing Director of Allsee Technologies. “Videri differentiates by integrating deeply at the OS system level. That depth is what allows us to unlock capabilities like running two independent content streams on a single SoC – something standard CMS applications simply cannot support.”

Built for Longevity, Not Just Speed to Market.

Videri’s multi-display capabilities with Allsee build on the foundation of the Videri Embedded program, announced last year, which enables third-party hardware to integrate natively into the Videri platform.

“The faster path in our industry is to build a simple app that sits on top of the hardware,” said Marco Pasqual, SVP of Engineering and Technology. “But that approach locks customers into performance and capability limitations. We chose the harder path – deep OS-level integration combined with powerful Videri Portal capabilities- so our platform continues to deliver value years from now, regardless of the hardware you started with.”

One Platform, Many Form Factors.

“Whether customers deploy our premium Spark Series Digital Canvas, or expand through our Embedded partners like Allsee, the experience is unified,” said Rob Avery, SVP of Product at Videri. “We don’t offer alternative platforms. Everything is an extension of a single, secure, and scalable system, designed to grow as business needs change.

This launch marks an industry first: Videri’s Content Management and Device Management platform are the first to support an Android-based dual-sided display capable of rendering mirrored or unique content streams on each side using a single internal SoC — reducing complexity, cost, and points of failure in deployments.

Because scaling signage shouldn’t mean stacking hardware.
