Videri adds Korbyt Anywhere to Growing Roster of Supported Third Party Software Solutions

Korbyt is a decades-long leader in the Digital Signage and Workplace Communications industry, providing visual experiences across a broad range of endpoints and HTML enabled displays catering to Corporate Workspaces, Campuses, Call Centers, and Supply Chain Operations. The Korbyt Anywhere app is a powerful, AI-driven CMS enabling Korbyt customers to create, automate, and distribute engaging and targeted messages to captivate their audiences wherever (or whoever) they are (employees, students, customers or guests).

Today, we are excited to announce that Videri’s Spark Series of Digital Canvases can seamlessly be added to the range of media players supported by Korbyt. Now you may ask, why would Videri support another CMS when they have their own content and device management solution?

“This is about meeting our customer’s needs and making it easy to work with Videri” says Jay Leedy, SVP of Strategic Alliances at Videri. “The Korbyt team has invested heavily in platform integrations with a broad range of media players and business applications to offer unified content management in enterprise environments. Through our Flex Tier offering, Videri allows Korbyt customers to seamlessly integrate our elegant and uniquely sized displays into their environments. This integration enhances the centralized content management capabilities already provided by Korbyt Anywhere. Our solution provides both Videri device management, while allowing clients to continue managing content playback in the way they are already comfortable with.”

And what's in it for Korbyt?

Korbyt Anywhere platform is device-agnostic and strives to support all popular media players customers want to use.  Unsurprisingly, there was market demand for Videri devices.

“We were asked by a key customer whether our Korbyt Anywhere platform could accommodate Videri Canvases. Because Videri hardware is Android 12 based, supporting their devices was incredibly easy.” said Andrew Gildin, VP of Strategic Partnerships at Korbyt. “The Spark Canvases are beautiful, easy to install, and easy to manage. They fit in small and unusual places, but are also low energy and ADA complaint, which is crucial to a growing number of our customers. We see a lot of synergies with Videri’s mission and our own.”

Edge-Lit TVs are on the hot seat. How does Videri keep its cool?

In a recent study by RTING, edge-lit TVs were identified as prone to significant durability issues due to concentrated heat which caused “uniformity problems” such as warped reflector sheets, cracked light guide plates, and burnt-out LEDs. The study concluded that these TVs posed a significant risk to long-term reliability. When it comes to thin digital displays, heat dissipation is paramount to the longevity of the product. No one knows that better than Omar Barake, SVP of Hardware and Engineering at Videri. We asked him how Videri kept its cool.
