Transform your POP displays from Print to Digital – Videri and Profitmaster make it easy.

As anyone who’s been following our social media knows, collaboration is a driving force behind the Videri strategy. Today, we announce a new partnership with Profitmaster Displays, and a re-imagining of their merchandising unit called The Zone Display. Instead of a printed header graphic, The Zone Display can now incorporate an optional Videri Spark3 Digital Canvas. Remotely managed though Videri Portal3, this enhancement offers brands a way to retrofit their current Zone Display.

Shortly after joining Videri, Jay Leedy contacted POP display industry veteran Jonathan Pesenti, who now works at Profitmaster Displays. When the Profitmaster team got a chance to review Videri’s Spark line of Digital Canvases, they were excited by the possibilities Videri’s Platform opened up for them.

When Jay first showed us the Spark Canvas, we immediately saw the potential to incorporate it into our merchandising units, particularly The Zone Display

Spark3 was the perfect size, and lightweight enough to replace paper graphics to allow brands an opportunity to easily upgrade promotional messaging to digital content and drive higher sales activation.

This is especially exciting as our beverage customers continue to battle for market share across the 50,000 or so Zone Display units already deployed.”

Jonathan Pesenti, BDM at Profitmaster

The Zone Display

The Zone is a semi-permanent merchandising unit manufactured by Profitmaster Displays and widely deployed today with printed sign toppers in convenience stores, grocery and drug store chains.

This unit is expressly developed to suit beverage goods such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi and Dr Pepper products and promotions. With durable steel construction and caster wheels, The Zone Display is a flexible merchandising unit with a Spark3 Canvas mounting plate retrofitted onto the existing display. Typically positioned in high-visibility areas, upgrading The Zone Display with a Videri Canvas and software opens the door for CPGs to run dynamic advertising, targeted promotions, perform A/B testing of content strategies and explore potential to convert trade marketing initiatives into Retail Media Networks, to capture new revenue streams.

6 Benefits of The Zone Display with Spark3

  1.  Differentiation: Consumer Packaged Goods is a highly competitive market and brands battle for shopper attention in store. Brands can drive higher sales activation with a Videri enabled Zone Display helping them to stand out against competition and even easily cross-promote complimentary products, to extend sales and further benefit the retailer’s average sales ticket.
  2. Sense of urgency: The pace at which promotions change through digital can drive urgency through campaigns, limited time offers etc. creating impulse sales or increased baskets.
  3. Routine disruption: Repeat customers need something to grab attention, create desire, and elicit action or they follow the same routine. Video and animation attract frequent shoppers to new products and promotions they might otherwise overlook.
  4. Consistency in execution: There is no way to confirm a paper graphic is still in place after deployment, nor that new graphics will be distributed correctly against a promotion schedule. Digital distribution ensures not only that the right message is in the right place at the right time, but Videri’s proof play reporting can also provide confidence the schedule was delivered correctly.
  5. Performance: With targeted digital content delivered at the moment of purchase, Videri customers have reported up to a 30% sales lift. Now you can bring this targeted approach to your existing Zone Display with ease.
  6. Fewer resources: Consistency across all digital mediums also affords  creative to be re-purposed across all digital assets for product launches, seasonal changes, promotional calendars and limited offers. (i.e., pink version for breast cancer awareness). Not only can companies re-purpose existing creative, but they can reduce ongoing print and shipping costs for graphic materials.
